RJ4 hosts the unveiling of Amouage Elsewhere, having the exclusivity of the latest creation from the Amouage Essences Collection. It was an evening of fragrance, artistry and great discovery.
The launch brought together an inspiring gathering of fragrance lovers and tastemakers, each invited to experience the world of Amouage through scent, conversation and immersive moments.
Elsewhere is more than a fragrance, it’s an invitation to escape the expected…a sensory journey that evokes the feeling of being transported somewhere unknown, where memories, emotions and imagination meet.
A journey beyond the horizon Created by perfumer Pierre Negrin. Elsewhere is a Woody Spicy Ambery composition presented at an exceptional 30% pure perfume concentration. Inspired by the legendary voyage of Sindbad, the fragrance carries his journey beyond Oman’s horizon, moving from the warmth and familiarity of home into the intrigue of the unknown, before finding its way home once again.
Elsewhere opens with a luminous blend of Honey, Tangerine, Grapefruit, Mango, Pomegranate and Apricot, enlivened by Ginger, Cardamom and Pink Pepper. At its heart, Black Tea, Cappuccino and Davana introduce a darker, more mysterious character, before settling into a warm base of Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Cedarwood, Labdanum, Cypriol, Vetiver and Patchouli.
At the heart of Elsewhere is Amouage’s distinctive six-month Double Infusion process, through which the perfume concentrate matures with Australian sandalwood chips while pure bioethanol is separately aged in medium-toast oakwood barrels. The two are then brought together and undergo a further two weeks of maceration, giving the fragrance its distinctive dry, smoky patina.
